Chiropractic

Dr. Haxton DC

Dr. James Haxton graduated Cum Laude from Life West Chiropractic College and is a diplomate with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. Using non-invasive procedures and dedicating over two thousand post-doctoral hours to the study of neurology, he has helped countless patients for a variety of neurological conditions.

Dr. Haxton is a multi-sport athlete who understands the value of how chiropractic can improve performance and quality of life. He is relentlessly committed to the individual patient and creating health plans that utilize the latest research and treatment methods.

Dr. McArthur DC

Dr. Victoria McArthur graduated from the University of Western States with her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters of Science in Sports Medicine in 2020 after completing her Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She has completed training in Acupuncture and Dry Needling through the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and intends to complete her Active Release Therapy training having now completed her Craniosacral Therapy Level 1. 

Victoria’s focus is blending active rehabilitation, acupuncture, and chiropractic adjustments to benefit the patient as a whole. She believes that each patient is unique and there is not one “cookie cutter” approach to treatment. Victoria assesses the complete kinetic chain and applies treatment to areas of dysfunction in the spine, extremities, and/or soft tissues. Her passion lies in adolescent athletics and the impact sports has on the body in the long term. Her passion projects include providing medical coverage for various hockey teams in Calgary, volunteering with the Canadian Ski Patrol, and working sporting events around Calgary. 

Victoria is a retired athlete, having played college level volleyball in Halifax, NS. Growing up she was active in her community with soccer, volleyball, basketball, skiing, mountain biking, and hiking. When not at the clinic, Victoria can be found exploring  in the mountains, floating on a lake, reading a good book, or adventuring with her family and their dog, Bella.

Dr. Froese DC

Dr. Cody Froese is a passionate advocate for an active lifestyle and holistic wellness. His journey in the field of health and wellness began at the University of Calgary, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Driven by a quest for knowledge and a commitment to excellence, he later graduated from the University of Western States with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic, achieving Magna Cum Laude honours.

Growing up, Dr. Froese engaged in a diverse range of sports including hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball. This firsthand experience has given him a profound understanding of the physical demands of various sports and activities. Beyond the realm of health and wellness, Dr. Cody is an avid sports enthusiast, staying meticulously updated on scores, standings, news, and stats. His love for sports is not confined to the professional arena; it’s a reflection of his lifelong commitment to the principles of movement, competition, and well-being. In his downtime, you’ll find Dr. Cody engaged in weightlifting – a testament to his dedication to personal fitness. Additionally, he finds joy in exploring the latest and greatest in the world of entertainment, indulging in streaming new TV shows and movies with his wife.

Massage

Kristina

Kristina is a mother of 4 kids: 3 boys and a girl. She has been involved with horses and rodeo since she was young and her pastimes include horseback riding, camping, and playing various sports with her family. 
She graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy, and can work to ease the pain of people with low back injuries, headaches, MVA, TMJ disorders, sports injuries, and a variety of other ailments. She believes in the crucial nature of a properly functioning musculoskeletal, immune, and nervous systems to achieve optimal patient health. Her goal is to provide patient education and ultimately giving her patients the knowledge, confidence, and tools necessary to take an active role in their recovery to optimum health, injury prevention, and to enhance athletic performance.

Loxley

Loxley was born in Jamaica, hails from High River, and has been an RMT since 1996. He was an elite track athlete in triple jump and long jump and enjoys coaching and training in addition to rehabilitation on the massage table. Loxley possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience and is an incredible asset to our team.


Front Desk

Cindy

Cindy is a native Calgarian, and married mother of 5 kids and 2 dogs. She and her husband Randy live in the home her parents built in Riverbend. She has worked as a friendly face in the chiropractic and massage wellness industry for the past 7 years, and loves to help people find the natural solutions they need to improve their health.

Now that most of the kids have grown up and moved out, she is pursuing her newest passion for riding motorcycles. After graduating from Too Cool Motorcycle School in May of 2017, she quickly got 2 dirt bikes, a DR650SE dual sport, a Ninja 500R and now a Honda CBF1000A. You will often find one of her bikes parked outside the clinic, as it is her favourite mode of transportation when the weather permits.

When she is not at the clinic, she can be found on her bike, at 9Round Kickboxing fitness, or out camping, fishing and exploring the backroads of southern Alberta with her Dad and her dog.

Her combined talents of art, business, people skills, and being a fellow alum of TCMS, helped her attain the coveted position of Rockstar Receptionist at Heritage Pointe Chiropractic and Massage. Did we mention she has a sense of humour too?
